Neutralizing a chemical peel with ingredients from your kitchen:
- Baking soda, water, and vinegar
Instructions: Mix together one teaspoon of baking soda in one cup of water. Add a few drops of vinegar to the mixture until it’s well-mixed. Apply this solution to your face after rinsing off the peel and leave it on for five minutes before washing off with warm water.
- Baking soda, water, and lemon juice
Instructions: Mix together one tablespoon of baking soda in one cup of cool water until there are no clumps left. Add half a lemon’s worth of juice (about 1/4 cup) to the mixture and stir well again. Apply this solution as directed above once you’ve rinsed yourself off after using the chemical peel
